How cover can respond in practice

A gypsy brewer has a batch fermenting at a host brewery when a tank fails and the beer is lost. The host’s policy might not cover the gypsy brewer’s stock. Stock cover on the gypsy brewer’s own policy, with the right location and extension, may respond, subject to terms.

What it can cover

Cover we commonly review with you

  • Product liability for beer sold under your brand

  • Recall cover, where available

  • Goods in transit between sites

  • Public liability for your own activities

  • Cover for your recipes, packaging and labels

  • Business interruption if a host brewery fails
