Tow Truck Insurance
Tow truck operators look after other people's vehicles every day. A scratch during loading or a crash while towing can lead to a claim, and the truck itself is a big investment.

An example
A tow truck is carrying a damaged sedan to a repair yard. A strap slips and the car shifts, damaging the tray and the car. The truck's own policy covers the truck, and hook-in cover is what responds to the sedan. If it wasn't included, the operator pays for the car.
Illustrative example only. Cover depends on your policy wording.
